INTARSIA
Wall hangings to grace a living room or den. All of my pieces are made using natural wood with little or no added tints, stains or paint. The colors you see are the natural colors from the wood itself. I try to find woods with grains and even a possible knot that will accentuate the "look" that I wish to capture in the finished wood picture.
PUZZLES
We all love them. The challenge, the frustration and the just plain FUN, make puzzles interesting for all of us. Young children need them to stimulate their thinking. Adults need them to relax and enjoy. And elderly need them to stimulate again. A circle of enjoyment for all ages. Simple or hard, they are all fun!
FRETWORK ART
Art pictures cut into wood. Often the choice of the wood is the key to the success of the finished picture. Sometimes a more plain piece of wood is used and is then "backed" with another piece of wood, in order to add strength to an otherwise, extremely fragile piece.
